If there was ever a reason to reach your beach-body goals this season, I think that either of these fab little numbers would be it, no?

Happy Monday! Today’s musical Monday’s is based off the word shelter, and was initially inspired by Ray LaMontagne’s beautiful song which bears the same name. What else could give me reason to compile a decor post (something I haven’t curated as frequently this month) which in turn has also made me long for some new spring pieces to jazz up our living room. Speaking of jazzing up … isn’t this task lamp fantastic? I can see it grouped together with a few others for an industrial Ménage à trois.

This day has been a full one. One of my best friends just left after coming into town to help me register for our little guy, BCL and I re-organized our laundry room and mad-dashed through a major rain storm, I spent a lot of time on the couch blog reading and internet surfing, and now I’m going to unpack various suitcases from various trips. Productive? I’d say half and half. But I do love a Sunday like this one.

Happy St. Pats friends! I’m not going to lie, the green-frosted cake donut I walked past this morning certainly called my name, but alas, I had to say NO (and that’s because I had one just a few days ago!) So instead I’m letting said donut inspire this post, which I hope will give you ample “green” inspiration!!!
1. River Liffey dress / Modcloth. 2. Lido shoe / Kate Spade. 3. Daisy knob / Anthropologie. 4. Anchor pillow / Jonathan Adler. 5. Valerie bag / Dooney & Burke. 6. Tea tumbler / Daytrip Society.

As noted earlier this week, my schedule has been INSANE! I’ve had deadlines to juggle, a couple long-distance drives, a photo shoot and now a day filled with catch up. But does work ever stop me from stop me from browsing the web? I think not! So here’s a sampling of things I “must have” this week starting with a very girlie, peach skirt. Aren’t those pleats divine? Yes, I’m pregnant, but perhaps I can wear it post baby?
Top left-to-right: Marc by Marc Jacobs bow earrings / Net-a-Porter. Sequin mist cardigan / J.Crew. Beary-y your sadness magnet set / Modcloth. Middle left-to-right: Five fork print / Bridbird @ Etsy. Dannijo i Phone cover / Stylebop. LD Tuttle wedge sandal / La Garconne. Bottom left-to-right: Pamera skirt/ Club Monaco. Chicken and Egg: A Memoir of Suburban Homesteading with 125 Recipes / Chronicle Books. Woven baubles necklace / Anthropologie.

Taking a day-off from Musical Mondays as I have loads of deadlines to deal with tonight and I’m already way too far behind.
However, if I had a musical chair, this is what I would want it to look like. I couldn’t resist.

I’ve been browsing fabrics for the baby’s nursery lately, and for every kids fabric I clip, I seem to find one more for me or BCL. These are current faves … perfect for a computer chair cushion, to cover a bulletin board or to turn into cute throw pillows. Manly but fun, no?

Some girlfriends and I are off on a Northern Michigan getaway this weekend and we’re leaving now … yes, right this minute! So a brief hi and by before I’m back tomorrow with Friday’s Fellow. Oh, and how apropos is this happy day print? Any day I steal away in Glen Arbor can be categorized as such.

For a while now I’ve been struggling with how to incorporate all my baby finds (and there are SO MANY) into my daily life and work, as it’s hard not to share everything with you all! I realize the mission of Sage & Style is to showcase my daily picks, finds and inspirations so an occasional foray into baby land isn’t going to interfere. However, because I’m having so much fun cataloging kids things (see all my pinterest folders!) I’ve decided I simply must launch a separate baby/kids blog this spring. So there you have it. It’s been decided and spoken … and there’s no going back. I’ll keep you tuned in on a launch date and specifics, but in the meantime I hope you don’t mind an occasional “find,” product or play-thing displayed here while we’re building.
This leads me to today’s find. Aren’t these adorable blah, blah, blah mini blankets by Donna Wilson sublime. I’m thinking the black and yellow will go perfectly in Baby L’s new room. Not only are they the perfect size for a stroller walk, newborn gift, but they’re also 100% lambswool and knitted in Scotland (one of my most favorite places on earth!)
